Funding Alert: Ministerial Initiative for Plant Productivity – Quebec

The Ministerial Initiative for Plant Productivity in Quebec supports innovation and productivity in plant-based agriculture to strengthen Quebec’s agricultural sector.

Application Deadline

• From December 10, 2024 to the February 7, 2025 for peripheral regions
• From the January 7, 2025 to February 7, 2025 for central region

The peripheral regions are as follows: Abitibi-Témiscamingue-Nord-du-Québec, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Côte-Nord, Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Outaouais and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.

The central regions are as follows: Capitale-Nationale, Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches, Estrie, Montréal-Laval-Lanaudière, Laurentides, Mauricie, Montérégie.

Program Funding Amount

• $50,000

Funding Type: Ministerial Initiative for Plant Productivity (Quebec)

• Nonrefundable contribution
• 45% of eligible expenses
• With a bonus of 15% for suburbs regions or biological products

• Adoption of innovative technologies
• Expansion or modernization of agricultural facilities
• Improvement of sustainable practices

Eligible Costs

• Equipment purchases or rental
• Consultancy services
• Infrastructure improvement
