Ayming is looking to hire a CFO to lead Canada from a financial perspective. You will work alongside other C-Suite team members and act as a real business partner for the current Managing Director.

As CFO, you will take ownership of all financial, controlling and regulatory matters. To do well in this role you should also have experience working with an international organization.

About Your Role

  • Your main responsibilities will be to drive the company’s financial planning, to respond to the group requirements and to be an actor of the company’s performance;
  • Assist with high-level decisions about policy and strategy;
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and members of the executive management team;
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all monthly financial reporting for the Group;
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning;
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders;
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity;
  • Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company;
  • Supervise the finance team;
  • Support in the implementation of IT tools related to business;
  • Set up internal control process;
  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs;
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.

What You Bring to The Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, master’s degree or MBA;
  • Experience in a senior management position;
  • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting;
  • Experience with corporate governance;
  • Experience in a consulting company;
  • Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow;
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
  • Bilingual English /French a strong asset;
  • Organized, rigorous and determined;
  • Gifted for argumentation and negotiation;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Full of enthusiasm and willing to construct long term relationships;
  • Proactive mindset and autonomous.
