Ayming Canada is looking for an experienced SR&ED Manufacturing Manager to service Toronto. The ideal candidate has a passion for excellence, is driven to achieve his/her full potential and understands the value of building relationships with clients and colleagues. If you have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and preferably with SR&ED consulting experience, this role may be of interest to you. The SR&ED manager also has to prepare claims for SR&ED tax incentives for his own portfolio of clients while coaching, mentoring and growing a team.
Your role
- Have a high proficiency in advanced notions of the SR&ED Program
- Assign files to consultant /technical team to match client requirements
- Assign tasks to your team members to meet the deadlines with the required quality and contribute to overall team objectives.
- Manage the flow of month-to-month operations to meet monthly targets
- Review monthly workload to ensure it is distributed fairly and that each consultant has capacity to deliver his/her portfolio on time
- Act as a soundboard/resource person for team members
- Co-ordinate the file delivery and budget process, and analyze and update forecast estimates for your region
- Prepare claims from end to end for SR&ED tax incentives for his own portfolio of clients.
- Ensure peer reviews are done when Ayming fees greater than 20K, and/or with new team members join the team.
- Support Sales team in the acquisition of new clients
- Have a high proficiency in advanced notions of the SR&ED Program
- Ensure admin tasks are completed in a timely manner (SalesForce, weekly timesheets, Kimble, audit tracking, invoicing, expenses)
- Review RFI packages before sending to CRA / MRQ
- Audit and opposition support for team members
- Responsible for the evaluation of the performance of each team member based on KPI (client satisfaction, client retention, efficiency and productivity)
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice procedures
What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science
- 4 to 5 years of Prior consulting experience with the SR&ED program in the IT sector
- Experience or solid knowledge of plastics/metal manufacturing or food processing is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices; holding a CPA is an asset
- Proven customer service experience
- Being results driven and client focused
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
